About Us

Reach The Children UK is a UK based organisation working with AIDS/HIV orphans in Africa. Our aim is to increase awareness through volunteering, fundraising, sponsorship and donations here in the UK.

Each year, RTC facilitates the travel of self-funding volunteers to countries in Africa to do various service-oriented projects. The projects and dates are based upon coordinating appropriate requests from our in-country offices with volunteers available. Details come with the process of developing each expedition.

The guiding principle is that Reach The Children UK believes that it is always unacceptable for a child to experience abuse of any kind. Reach the Children UK recognises its responsibility to safeguard the welfare of all young people by protecting them from abuse. The policy is being developed to ensure that Reach The Children UK takes every possible measure to prevent abuse. It aims to ensure that none of its staff, volunteers or partners engages in behaviour that could allow abuse to occur or actions that could be misinterpreted by children, their families or other adults as constituting or leading to abuse.
